Export the inventory PDF

Generate the descriptive inventory as a professional PDF on the mover's letterhead, section by section, ready to share or print.

Export PDF turns the job into a professional descriptive inventory, the form movers and claims adjusters recognize. It's laid out as a ruled grid of numbered pieces on the mover's letterhead, with summary and reference appendices. This is the document you hand or send to the customer.

Who this is for: Anyone producing the customer's inventory.

How to export

Open the job.
Tap the options menu (the ••• button, top right).
Tap Export PDF.
The app shows "Preparing PDF…" while it builds the document (a photo-heavy job takes a few seconds), then opens the share sheet.

Result: The finished PDF opens in the iOS share sheet, ready to send, save, or print. See Sharing and printing.

What the PDF contains

The header (every page)

The mover's logo and company block (name, address, phone, license, USDOT), top-left. This is the mover's own branding, pulled from company settings. See Company branding & logo.
The centered form title: RELOCATION SERVICES over DESCRIPTIVE INVENTORY.
A Registration No. cell (the order or lot number), plus customer name, origin and destination address rows, and the page number.

The item grid

Each numbered piece is one row across a seven-column grid:

Column	What it holds
WHSE	A pen-tick box, left blank for the crew to mark.
SHIPPER	A pen-tick box, left blank.
ITEM NO.	The piece's permanent inventory number.
LOCATION – ARTICLES	The item name (with any handling symbols).
CP / PBO	Carrier packed or packed by owner, for cartons only.
CONDITIONS AT ORIGIN	The pre-existing condition, recorded at origin.
CONDITIONS AT DESTINATION	Left blank, filled by pen at delivery.

In the Conditions at Origin column, a piece with no exceptions prints <>, which means "good condition except for normal wear." The header carries this note too: NOTE: "<>" indicates good condition except for normal wear.

Rows are grouped under room bands, in room order, with anything unassigned last. After the final item, an end marker prints: XXX in the item-number column beside — END OF INVENTORY —.

The appendix

After the grid, the document adds reference sections under the same header and signature chrome:

Shipment Summary — total pieces, total cube in ft³, and estimated weight in lbs. It repeats the <> note.
Packing Summary — side-by-side carton tallies, Carrier Packed and Packed By Owner, when the inventory has any cartons.
Inventory Symbol Key — a legend of the descriptive, location, and condition symbols this job actually uses (only the codes in use are listed).
Room Layouts — a top-down drawing of each scanned room with its measured dimensions, under the note "Measured top-down layout captured during the LiDAR scan." See Floor plans in the PDF.
Condition Photos — an appendix of pre-existing damage photos, printed only when "Attach condition photos" is on for the export. See Paper size & photos.

The signature footer

Every page carries a footer with a remarks line, the tape lot / color / number range for that page, and origin and destination signature blocks. If the inventory has been finalized, the customer's captured signature prints on the customer signature line at origin. See Finalize and sign.

File naming

The PDF is named from the shipper and order number, as {LastName}-{FirstName}-{OrderNumber}-Inventory.pdf. If those fields are empty, it falls back to Inventory.pdf.

Good to know

No vendor branding on the legal document. The exported inventory goes out on the mover's letterhead only. There is no Van Line Pro plug anywhere on it.
Honest blank cells. Form fields the app can't fill (like a Govt Bill of Lading number) are left blank rather than guessed.
Export defaults come from settings. Paper size and whether condition photos are attached follow your company's export defaults. See Paper size & photos.
Export works before or after signing. You can export a working copy any time; after finalizing, the customer's signature is included.
