The Jobs list

Read and work the Jobs tab: the workspace header, job cards, pull-to-refresh, and the press-and-hold quick actions on any card.

The Jobs tab is your company's working list of moves. It's where you create a job, open one to build its inventory, and manage jobs at a glance. This article covers what's on the screen and the shortcuts hiding in it.

The workspace header

At the top of the tab you see:

  • Your company name, in large type.
  • A role badge next to it showing your role in the company (for example, admin or crew).

Customers

Below the header is a Customers heading with a count pill showing how many jobs your company has. The count appears only when there's at least one job.

Job cards

Each job is a card. A card shows, from top to bottom:

  • A small tag color swatch (if a tag color is set) next to the customer's name.
  • The customer name (the shipper).
  • A status badge on the right, color-coded to the job's status. See Understanding job status.
  • The order number (shown as #SVM-10428), when one is set.
  • The move type, with a truck icon (for example, Local or Interstate).
  • The route, origin → destination, on one line.

Tap a card to open the job and its inventory.

Refresh the list

Pull down on the list to refresh it. This re-loads jobs from the cloud, which is handy when a teammate created or changed a job on another device.

Quick actions: press and hold a card

Press and hold a job card (like holding a Home Screen app icon) to open a quick menu without opening the job:

  • Status — a submenu with every status. Pick one to change the job's status right there. The label shows the current status, for example "Status: Estimate".
  • Duplicate as new estimate — makes a fresh estimate from this job, copying the shipper and move details but leaving the order and LOT numbers blank and the inventory empty. See Edit, duplicate, change status, or delete a job.
  • Delete — removes the job. This routes through a confirmation, because the inventory is a legal record.

When there are no jobs yet

A brand-new company sees an empty state instead of cards:

  • Icon: a shipping box.
  • Title: "No jobs yet"
  • Message: "Create your first moving job to start building inventories."
  • A New job button to open the wizard.
  • A See how it works link that opens the in-app training guide.

Good to know

  • Loading skeletons. While the list is loading, the app shows placeholder "skeleton" cards rather than a blank screen.
  • A failed load says so. If the list can't load and nothing is cached, you see "Couldn't load jobs" with a Try again button, not the empty state. That way a network hiccup never reads as "you have no jobs".
  • Stale-list banner. If jobs are already showing but a refresh fails, a banner appears above the list with a Retry action, so you know the list might be out of date.
